Tom Dreesen

A few kind words from Tom Dreesen:

I was the Master of Ceremonies at the Richard Jeni Memorial held at the Laugh Factory after Richard's passing. It was a great tribute to a magnificent Comedian who in my opinion was also one of the greatest writing Comedians of our time. My words to his grieving friends and family were that Emerson said, "You have lived a good life if you leave this world better than you found it." We all know that laughter is healing both psychologically and physiologically. Richard made millions of people laugh and therefore helped them through their daily struggles and sometimes enormous grief. So is the world better off because Richard Jeni passed through it and shared his wonderful talent with us? I would have to vote a resounding "YES" to that question.

God Bless you Richard wherever you are. And thank you, thank you... thank you.

Your friend,

Tom Dreesen
